Hoq Cave & Ras Erissel Start your day with a delicious local breakfast before setting out on a trek to the awe-inspiring Hoq Cave. This adventure involves a 3 km steep hike that rewards you with an underground wonderland of dramatic stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years.  💡 Tip: Bring a reliable headlamp or flashlight, as parts of the cave can be very dark.  After the trek, return to camp for lunch and a well-deserved rest before continuing your journey.   

• In the afternoon, head to Ras Erissel, the easternmost tip of Socotra where the Arabian Sea meets the Indian Ocean. Here, you can relax by the shore, enjoy the dramatic scenery, and witness the unique meeting of two great seas. 
• As evening falls, return to Arher Beach for a delicious dinner and overnight camping beneath the stars, surrounded by the sound of the waves and the beauty of the dunes. 

Early Morning Hike & Dihamri Marine Reserve Begin your day with an early morning hike up the sand dunes of Arher Beach to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the coastline. After soaking in the views, return to camp for a hearty breakfast.  Next, drive to the Dihamri Marine Reserve, one of Socotra’s most remarkable snorkeling and diving locations. With the guidance of an experienced dive master, you’ll explore vibrant coral reefs alive with marine life—sea turtles, parrotfish, moray eels, and countless tropical fish. Whether you choose to snorkel or dive, this underwater paradise offers an unforgettable experience. 

• Afternoon at Homhil (or Kilishan Wadi – Optional) After lunch, continue your journey to the Homhil Protected Area, a magical landscape home to the legendary Dragon Blood Trees, Desert Roses, and frankincense trees. Here you can also relax at the natural infinity pool, perched high above the cliffs with panoramic views of the Arabian Sea.
• Alternatively, you may opt for an excursion to Kilishan Wadi, a lush valley offering fresh pools and shaded areas perfect for relaxation and exploration.
• In the evening, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay. Depending on your preference, you can camp in Homhil or in Kilishan Wadi, both offering unique experiences close to nature under the Socotri night sky.

Morning at Kilishan Wadi Begin the day exploring Kilishan Wadi, home to Socotra’s largest natural pool. Surrounded by lush green vegetation and striking white limestone cliffs, this hidden paradise is perfect for relaxation and adventure.  Take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters, or—if you’re feeling bold—try cliff jumping into the deep pool. Keep an eye out for the colorful Socotri chameleons that thrive in this unique environment, adding to the magic of the wadi. 

• Afternoon at Zahek Journey from the northern highlands to the southern coast of Socotra, arriving at the mesmerizing Zahek Sand Dunes in the heart of the Noged plains. Here, vast stretches of powdery white sand roll gently down to the shoreline, where the Indian Ocean meets the land in a breathtaking fusion of sea and desert.
• Spend the afternoon soaking in this magical landscape—climb the dunes, feel the soft sands under your feet, and take in the serenity of Socotra’s southern coast. As the day draws to a close, witness a picturesque sunset over the dunes, painting the sky with vibrant hues.
• End the day with dinner and overnight camping at Zahek, under a canopy of stars and the sound of waves nearby.

Cave & Canyon Exploration Begin the day with a visit to Dagub Cave, famous for its glistening wet rock walls and intriguing natural formations shaped over millennia. After exploring the cave, continue your journey to the breathtaking Diksam Plateau, a highland region renowned for its sweeping views and the iconic Dragon Blood Trees that grow only on Socotra.  From the plateau, descend into the dramatic Wadi Dirhur Canyon, where towering cliffs give way to a lush valley lined with graceful palm trees and Bottle Trees. • End the day with dinner and overnight at Detwah Lagoon, camping by the shore under a sky full of stars.

Morning Boat Ride to Shoab Beach Begin the day with a scenic boat ride from Qalansiya to Shoab Beach, a pristine stretch of untouched coastline accessible only by sea. Along the way, it’s common to be accompanied by playful pods of dolphins riding the waves beside the boat—an unforgettable sight.  On arrival, enjoy plenty of time for swimming in crystal-clear waters, strolling the endless white sand, and relaxing in complete tranquility.  After this refreshing escape, return by boat to Detwah Lagoon where a delicious lunch at camp awaits.
